The English Football League has released an official statement in response to former Sheffield Wednesday owner Dejphon Chansiri’s intention to take legal action against the governing body. The move follows Chansiri’s public stance that he was unfairly treated and deliberately pushed out, claims the EFL have now firmly rejected.
In its statement, the EFL confirmed awareness of Chansiri’s plans to challenge the ban imposed on him, while strongly defending the process that led to the sanction.
