Harry Amass has been one of the rare success stories for Manchester United’s loan list in recent years. Yet he could be set for a change during the January transfer window.
Having spent the first half of this season on loan at Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship, Harry Amass has been a roaring success.
Despite Ruben Amorim claiming Amass was struggling, the 18-year-old has just won back-to-back player of the month awards for the relegation-threatened club.
Amass’ performances are undeniably impressive; however, Amorim’s criticism likely was more angled at the fact that performing in a Championship relegation dog-fight requires different qualities than representing Manchester United.
Now, the teenager might be set for a different loan to test him in different ways.
While Amass has been enjoying his football at Hillsborough and United are pleased with his development, there has been a feeling that he might not finish the season there.
With Amass’ loan expiring in January, there are options for United, as he could stay, be recalled, or head elsewhere.
