Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly on the verge of making a significant move to bolster their attacking lineup, with Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke emerging as a top target for the London club. Solanke, 26, has become a key player for Bournemouth, particularly under the management of Andoni Iraola. “At Celtic, I had Kyogo, who was an out-and-out number nine, and in Japan, I’ve always had a striker,” Postecoglou explained. “It just depends, like last year we had to be a bit creative. But if Harry had stayed, I definitely would have used him! So I think for us, what’s more important is the type of striker we get. We play a certain way, and we demand certain things from a physical and technical perspective. It’s still the area of the park we’re really probably the thinnest when I talk about squad-wise at the moment, so obviously that’s a focus for us.”
