The St George Illawarra Dragons have made a two-year offer for versatile Wests Tigers star Adam Doueihi for 2026 and 2027 as he weighs up a 12 month extension.
The Daily Telegraph reported the Dragons have tabled a two year offer to Doueihi, with the Tigers junior potentially set to leave the club.
Doueihi met with Dragons officials this week who have made an offer to try and snare the 26-year-old.
The Dragons would view Doueihi as a halves option but most likely a ball-playing lock.
The Tigers are keen to keep Doueihi after the exit of promising spine members and club juniors Lachlan Galvin and Tallyn Da Silva this season.
The Tigers offered Doueihi a 12-month extension having re-signed him to a similar deal this year.
Benji Marshall will have to make a call on potentially upping the Tigers offer to two years to match the Dragons.
Doueihi can play halfback, five-eighth, fullback and centre and has recently made a successful switch to lock for the injury-hit Tigers.
He is also an excellent goal kicker having kicked 175 goals to go with 27 tries in his 112 game career to date.
The Dragons had been linked to Doueihi late last year after granting then skipper Ben Hunt permission to leave to join the Broncos.
