Breaking: “Let Me Clarify That…” — Former Bulldogs Star Josh Addo-Carr Sets the Record Straight and Slams Crichton

Former Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs star Josh Addo-Carr has spoken out to clarify remarks he made about his departure from the club, insisting that his intention was never to disparage the Bulldogs.

“Let me clarify that… I never intended to talk down on the club,” Addo-Carr said. “As a matter of fact, I was trying to explain that after what happened during my time at the club, leaving was the best decision for my career. Staying with the Bulldogs would have been difficult, and moving on allowed me to focus on correcting past mistakes and continuing my development.”

He also addressed comments about former teammate Stephen Crichton, stressing that no personal grievance exists. “Crichton is a friend, and I think when you see or hear things, it’s natural to try to confirm and get explanations, especially as the media will always want to engage with every story,” Addo-Carr added.

Fans and pundits alike have weighed in on the clarification, with many praising the 25-year-old for handling the situation with professionalism while reinforcing the respect he holds for the club where he rose to prominence.
