Players at Fulham Football Club have given Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze a new and exciting nickname because of his recent performances and outstanding skills.
Chukwueze and his fellow Super Eagles teammate, Alex Iwobi, were both on the scoresheet during Fulham’s dramatic 5–4 loss to Manchester City on Tuesday night at Craven Cottage. Despite the defeat, Chukwueze stood out by scoring two brilliant goals, showing confidence, pace, and sharp finishing.
Chukwueze, who is currently on loan from AC Milan, has been impressing both teammates and fans since joining the Premier League side.
After the match, Alex Iwobi revealed that the winger is now known as “Chukwu-magic” among the players. The name came from the way he performs eye-catching tricks and skillful moves during training sessions.
Iwobi explained to FFC TV that Chukwueze regularly produces “magical” moments when the team trains, and that his creativity has become one of Fulham’s biggest weapons.
He added that the Nigerian forward is now combining his natural flair with better end product scoring goals, assisting his teammates, and creating dangerous chances in every game.

Iwobi also praised Chukwueze for his positive attitude, saying his confidence on the ball lifts the entire team. According to him, having a player like Chukwueze makes Fulham more unpredictable and harder for opponents to defend against.
