Catalans Dragons have secured their latest signing after landing Castleford Tigers outside back Josh Simm.
All Out Rugby League understands the Dragons have done a deal to sign Simm, the former St Helens talent who is off-contract at the end of the season.
The Dragons are currently going through the process of revamping their squad, with drastic changes set to be after another disappointing season. They have already confirmed a number of additions but more are coming, and Simm is set to be the next.
The 24-year-old has spent the last two seasons with the Tigers following a brief spell in the Australian lower grades. This term he has made 19 Super League appearances, scoring seven tries for Castleford.
But with Castleford also set to make big changes, with outside back additions coming, Simm’s future lies elsewhere and next year, he is set to land in France.
Simm came through the system at St Helens and went on to make 19 appearances for the club, scoring seven tries. After loan spells with Leigh and Hull FC, he move down under for the 2023 season, signing for Queensland Cup side Wynnum-Manly Seagulls.
He subsequently returned to Super League with Castleford ahead of the 2024. He has scored 13 tries in 27 games.
Catalans have already announced a number of signings for next year, including Toby Sexton, Josh Allen, Solomona Faataape and Harvey Wilson.
