Breaking: Bronny James Set to Impress 2 NBA Teams in Upcoming Workouts!
Bronny James has garnered interest from numerous NBA clubs ahead of the draft, but according to a reporter, the former USC Trojans guard plans to work out for only a few teams. On Tuesday, Shams Charania revealed that James has gotten invites to work out for more than ten NBA teams. However, Charania claims James will only visit with a few teams. He mentioned the Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns as the two teams James will visit.
“I’m told he’s only going to visit a couple of those, and that’s going to include the Lakers and the Phoenix Suns,” Charania stated on “Run it Back.” Where James wants to be drafted will “depend on the development plan.” It will come down to guaranteed money, according to Charania.
James, 19, played one season of college basketball and made little impact for USC. However, the Lakers have the No. 55 overall pick and could contemplate delighting LeBron by selecting his son in that position. The Suns have the No. 22 overall pick. James Jones, LeBron’s former Heat and Cavaliers colleague, is Phoenix’s general manager. Perhaps James has approved the Suns’ decision to choose his kid.

Presti and the Thunder acquired ex-All-Star Gordon at this year’s trade deadline, hoping he would be a valuable veteran contributor off the bench for their otherwise youthful and inexperienced squad. However, Gordon only received 17.2 minutes per game during the regular season and 6.6 minutes per game during the playoffs, as OKC prioritised second-unit minutes for Aaron Wiggins (25), Isaiah Joe (24), and Cason Wallace (20). The 34-year-old Gordon will be a free agent this summer and is almost certain to leave Oklahoma City. Gordon certainly agrees with his wife’s feelings, as evidenced by what he said during his own farewell interview last week.

George, 34, is eligible for a four-year, $221 million contract extension with the Clippers. However, the Clippers apparently do not want to pay him more than they previously did Kawhi Leonard (three years and approximately $150 million), especially as the franchise faces the dreaded second luxury-tax apron. This offseason, the Clippers must also negotiate a new free-agent contract with James Harden, their major trade acquisition. That has opened the door for George to potentially go when he officially becomes a free agent at the end of June, possibly to this team, which is very interested in him.
DeRozan is a native of the Los Angeles area. He also remains an outstanding scorer who excels in key circumstances, rarely misses games, and has developed underappreciated playmaking abilities in recent years. However, for the Clippers, the disadvantages of DeRozan arguably exceed the advantages at this point. In terms of defence and three-point shooting skills, DeRozan falls well short of George. He is also slightly older than George (DeRozan will turn 35 in August) and appears to be a terrible fit next to Leonard, a similarly midrange-heavy isolation scorer.
Nonetheless, negotiating a sign-and-trade for DeRozan is arguably a better alternative for the Clippers than losing George for nothing. With the Clippers slated to play in their new home, the Intuit Dome, in 2024-25, they’ll need big stars on the roster to sell tickets. Along with DeRozan, the Clippers have recently been linked to a number of ageing former All-Star players.
