Castleford Tigers have confirmed the re-signing of Elliot Wallis on loan for the remainder of the 2025 Super League season from Huddersfield Giants.
The 25-year-old outside-back returns to The Jungle, having scored four tries in 13 appearances during the 2023 campaign. He made the move to Huddersfield ahead of 2024, signing a four-year deal with the Giants.
Wallis also previously spent time on loan with Leeds Rhinos earlier this season, although failed to make a first-team appearance under Brad Arthur.
Huddersfield released in a statement: “Winger Elliot Wallis will head out on-loan to his former club Castleford Tigers, where he was previously before signing for the Giants.”
“We wish Elliot the very best on his loan, where he will spend the rest of the 2025 campaign with the Tigers.”
Wallis has made just three appearances for Huddersfield this year, scoring once.
Castleford meanwhile were recently dealt a cruel injury blow to youngster Fletcher Rooney, who picked up a season-ending hamstring blow on the last play of their team run before their clash with Hull KR.
Innes Senior is also out for the remainder of the season with an ankle injury, while Tex Hoy has been absent with a hamstring injury, albeit he made the 21-man squad last week. Jason Qareqare has also been out long-term with a serious hamstring problem.
