Confirmed: 2026 SSN Grand Final Locked In for Melbourne in Massive Showpiece Announcement

The location for this year’s Suncorp Super Netball (SSN) Grand Final has been confirmed, with Melbourne to host at John Cain Arena in partnership with Visit Victoria.

 

Last year’s Grand Final, also held in Melbourne, attracted a record crowd of more than 15,000 fans and generated close to $5.4 million for the Victorian economy. The event drew more than 4,000 interstate visitors, supporting hotels, businesses and hospitality venues across the area.

 

In 2025, the SSN drew a total attendance of 386,455, setting a league record and marking the second consecutive year as the most attended women’s sporting competition in Australia, as of Saturday 4 July.

 

Visit Victoria have a strong partnership with Netball Australia, with their ‘Every but different’ campaign being fully supported by Melbourne Vixens players Jo Weston, Sophie Garbin and Kate Moloney.

The campaign has been promoted across television, digital media and billboards across Australia and New Zealand, which has led it to reach over five million people.

Netball Australia CEO Stacey West said:

“The Suncorp Super Netball League is the highest attended female sporting competition in Australia and the Grand Final is the jewel in the crown, having sold out four years in a row.”
