Despite a somewhat shaky start, Bo Nix ultimately stood out as one of the biggest winners, not just for the Broncos in this game, but across Week 1 of the preseason. Nix entered the draft with skeptics doubting his potential, labeling him as too old, too boring, or too limited. However, in this game, he started to silence those critics by showcasing the skills and poise that earned him a first-round selection. His performance hinted that he could be a crucial piece for the Broncos moving forward, proving that he’s more than capable of handling the pressure.
Bo Nix delivered an impressive rookie preseason debut against the Colts, particularly in how he rebounded from early mistakes. His rough start included a late throw to Greg Dulcich that nearly resulted in an interception and a botched snap exchange. However, Nix quickly found his rhythm and showcased his talent with some remarkable plays.
