Stefanos Tsitsipas’s girlfriend, Paula Badosa, recently congratulated the World No. 7 on his victory at the 2024 Monte-Carlo Masters.
Tsitsipas defeated Casper Ruud in the final 6-1, 6-4 on Sunday to lift the title for the third time in four years.
The couple began dating in May 2023, and besides their off-court romance, they have also partnered together in doubles. Most recently, they reached the final of the Tie Break Tens exhibition tournament, where they were defeated by the partnership of Ben Shelton and Emma Navarro.
On Wednesday, a fan account on X (formerly Twitter) posted a video featuring Badosa congratulating her boyfriend, Tsitsipas, on clinching the 2024 Monte-Carlo Masters.
Badosa expressed her pride in Tsitsipas and his achievement at the Monte-Carlo Masters, despite the difficulties he faced. She admitted to understanding where he’s coming from and feeling a part of it as well.
“Hey Stef, you already know everything but I’m very very proud of you, of what you achieved in Monte-Carlo, I know it wasn’t easy, I know what you were coming from so, you know, I feel a little bit part of it also, but I’m really really proud of you and I think that’s only the beginning“ Badosa said.
Last season, the Los Cabos Open was the only title the 25-year-old won. However, he reached the final of the Australian Open, where he lost to Novak Djokovic, and the final of the Barcelona Open, where he lost to Carlos Alcaraz.
Stefanos Tsitsipas – “Now I feel like Paula Badosa’s fitness is back. I feel like she’s building up her game again”

Stefanos Tsitsipas recently told Tennis Channel in an interview that his girlfriend, Paula Badosa, is rebuilding her game, and her fitness is back.
Badosa pulled out of the 2024 Indian Wells Masters hours before her first-round match against Ashlyn Krueger due to a back injury.
During the interview, Tsitsipas stated that Badosa is much better, as he has been with her, witnessing her progress.
“(She’s) much better. I have been obviously there the entire time seeing her progress and seeing how she develops and gets better,” he said.
Tsitsipas also said that the injury was a very bad one, and that Badosa had gone through tough times. He shared his ordeal of having a similar injury in 2023.
“Paula has had a very bad injury in her back. People do not understand the difficult times that she has gone through. It’s quite unbelievable that I kind of followed her footsteps of the injury – had a very similar injury. Mine came about five months later, right on the same spot where she had it,” Stefanos Tsitsipas said
Tsitsipas said he was optimistic about her fitness and believes that when she finally returns, she’ll be at a better level than she ever was.
“Now I feel like her fitness is back. I feel like she’s building up her game again. I have no reason (not) to believe that she’s gonna be not just at the same level as she was before, but even better,” Stefanos Tsitsipas said.
