Broncos’ Stars to make a quicker Return as Surgery not necessary.

The Broncos have encountered a whirlwind of updates concerning two key players, Reece Walsh and Brendan Piakura, within the last day.

Initially, it was anticipated that Walsh would be sidelined for 4-6 weeks due to a facial fracture sustained against Penrith. However, recent reports from The Courier Mail indicate that surgery won’t be necessary for Walsh, and he aims to make a comeback as early as Round 6, just three weeks after the injury. In the event he’s unable to play against the Dolphins, the subsequent game against the Raiders emerges as a probable return target.

On the other hand, Piakura is expected to be out for approximately a month following an ankle injury sustained during a training session on Tuesday. This exacerbates the challenges for the Broncos’ pack, already grappling with the absence of Payne Haas and the departure of Tom Flegler and Kurt Capewell.
