Celtic Rodgers Unsure Over  Striker’s Future

Brendan Rodgers has indicated uncertainty regarding Adam Idah’s future at Celtic, as there is no provision for a permanent transfer in his loan agreement from Norwich City.

Idah arrived from David Wagner’s team on the January transfer deadline day and has demonstrated his effectiveness as a striking option for Celtic, despite initial concerns about his scoring ability. In six league appearances, he has scored five goals and contributed an assist, showcasing an immediate impact during his brief stint in Glasgow.

Rodgers stated that any decision regarding Idah’s future would be evaluated at the end of the season, emphasizing the necessity for negotiation since the situation is not entirely within Celtic’s control.

In the upcoming match against Livingston, Idah will strive to maintain his impressive goal-scoring form, as Rodgers once again opts for the Irishman over Kyogo Furuhashi in the starting lineup.

Securing Idah’s permanent signing in the summer could present challenges for Celtic, as they may face competition from English clubs, and there’s a possibility that Norwich might seek to retain him.
