JUST IN: Two Broncos stars under serious injury scare set for scan

Two Broncos stars under serious injury scare set for scan

The Broncos are sweating on the fitness of star halves Adam Reynolds and Ezra Mam after both suffered injuries in the win over the Rabbitohs.

Reynolds aggravated a knee injury he carried into the game and was seen limping in the second half before coming off late.

Reynolds has previously ruptured his ACL on the same knee and confirmed after the match that he would require a scan on Friday morning.

“Just stirred up what was already there,” Reynolds said.

“It’s pretty sore. Felt OK during the game. Felt a little bit before half time, and thought it’d be right to get back out there, but sort of hurt in that tackle.

“The plan is to get a scan in the morning. It’s just a knee injury. It’s nothing. Not too serious.”

When pressed if it was a medial injury Reynolds replied: “It is along those lines.”

Mam was clutching at a shoulder late in the second half, following a night of ferocious defense, but he battled on.
