The Golden State Warriors’ Jonathan Kuminga made significant strides in the previous campaign, but his future with the group is still uncertain.
It is quite improbable that he will receive a substantial contract extension from the Warriors in the near future.
According to Legion Hoops, Kuminga discussed a possible extension with Golden State and acknowledged the current situation while speaking with Tim Kawakami.
“When God opens someone’s doors, everyone has their moment. My door is still closed. It will open at some point, according to Kuminga.
Kuminga stated that he’s not worrying too much about a potential deal with the Warriors and is instead thinking about how great he can be and how he can help the team.
He believes if he does that, everything else will fall into place like it’s supposed to.
Last season, Kuminga averaged 16.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists.
He worked his way up into the starting lineup for many games but that may not be the case in 2024-25.
