Shocking Crime Spree: Entire Jurupa Valley Family Busted for Alleged Retail Thefts!

According to investigators, four family members have been taken into custody for reportedly committing at least ten retail thefts in the counties of Riverside, San Bernardino, and Los Angeles. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department reported on Friday that on April 24, several individuals stole more than $1,000 worth of products from a store in the 32100 block of Temecula Parkway. Deputies from the Southwest sheriff’s station were called to the scene.

The same criminals, according to the authorities, were also behind many thefts at different retail establishments throughout Southern California. The inquiry was taken up by the Robbery/Burglary Suppression Team of the Southwest station, which named the suspects as inhabitants of the Jurupa Valley: Thomas Balandran, 50; Sherri Alvarez, 48; Brianna Balandran, 19; and an unidentified juvenile, 17 years old.
According to the sheriff’s office, all four were connected and thought to be accountable for ten robberies totaling over $7,000 in losses throughout the three counties, in addition to possibly a few more unreported theft occurrences.

In the 6800 block of Valley Way, deputies allegedly discovered drugs, paraphernalia, and “a large amount of merchandise from the retailers with tags still affixed” after locating the defendants and executing a search warrant. The Cois Byrd Detention Centre in Murrieta received a booking for three adult offenders who were accused of grand theft, burglary, conspiracy, and organised retail theft. The minor was given to a family member and will subsequently face charges under juvenile probation. According to the agency, Thomas Balandran, who is currently on probation in Riverside County for grand theft, will also be charged with probation violation and drug-related offences.

More homes that were “thought to be involved in knowingly buying stolen goods with the intent to resell them for profit,” or “fencing,” were the subject of an investigation by officials.
