Rejecting claims that he is back to his best, Travis Kelce had a record-breaking performance against the Chargers.

At SoFi Stadium, the Kansas City tight end put on a far better performance that silenced his detractors. With 89 yards, he gained more than he did in his first three games combined. He also made a record-breaking 917th reception for the team.

NFL commentator Tony Romo declared, “Kelce is back” in response to his performance, while his broadcast partner, the venerable Jim Nantz, urged, “All the hot takes, you gotta find someone else to troll this week.”

But before he gets too excited, the Chiefs star said he needs to accomplish more, like score the team’s first touchdown.
