Framber Valdez – A Trade Candidate?

2. Héctor Neris – Bullpen Veteran on the Way Out
Héctor Neris has been a steady presence in the Astros’ bullpen since arriving in 2022, but with his contract expiring, it’s unlikely the team will re-sign the veteran reliever. Neris has been reliable but may command a higher salary in free agency than the Astros are willing to pay, especially considering their focus on younger arms.
