In an attempt to produce a show of his own, Stefanos Tsitsipas lost in the Miami Open’s opening round. He didn’t exactly have a stellar match against Denis Shapovalov. Many others saw qualities in the Greek’s reaction after the loss that suggested he was probably not up to the task.
After consistently placing in the top 10 of the ATP rankings, Tsitsipas has fallen from favor and isn’t in the top 10 since 2019. And his decline appears to go on forever. Fans were particularly concerned about his future after he lost 6-2, 6-4 to the ATP number 126 player Shapovalov.
Tsitsipas was recently observed working out hard to have a strong performance ahead of Monte Carlo.
Although he is currently having a poor 2024 season, the clay court season has begun, and that is his favorite surface where he could attain his maximum potential.

Currently ranked no.12, Stefanos played his last match on the 23rd of March when he lost to world no.121 Denis Shapovalov 6-2 6-4 in the 2nd round in Miami (draw).
Until now, during this year Tsitsipas has achieved a compiled 11-6 record. Stefanos Tsitsipas’s most significant performance of the present season was reaching the semifinal in Los Cabos.
Tsitsipas has scheduled to play next in Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters (Monte–Carlo). He will start the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 7th of April.
