Parramatta Eels star Mitchell Moses has issued a heartfelt plea to fans, urging them to stick with the team despite their recent struggles. Following a series of disappointing performances, including a frustrating loss to the Wests Tigers, Moses acknowledged the frustration within the fanbase but insisted that the team is just as disappointed as the supporters.
“We know we have been disappointing and haven’t brought you the joy you deserve,” Moses said. “But trust us, we are just as disappointed in ourselves. We need you now more than ever.”
The Eels’ recent form has been a cause for concern, with back-to-back losses putting their finals hopes in jeopardy. Their defeat against the Tigers, a team they were expected to beat, only fueled frustration among the fans, some of whom booed Dylan Brown during the game.
Moses strongly addressed the situation, calling for unity instead of division:
“I get it. Emotions run high. But booing one of our own won’t help,” Moses stated. “Dylan gives everything for this club, just like the rest of us. We need to stand together, not tear each other down.”

“We need the fans behind us, through the good and the bad,” Paulo said. “It’s easy to support a team when things are going well. The true test is sticking with us when we’re struggling. We’re going to fight for every game, and we need our fans right there with us.”
