West Ham have endured a miserable start to the Premier League season.

Graham Potter was rightfully sacked after a dreadful run of games, and Nuno Espirito Santo will take charge of his first match at the London Stadium after the break.

Currently sitting 19th in the table, West Ham have conceded 10 goals in their first three home matches and are yet to pick up a point in E20.

The Premier League has not been kind to the Hammers in 2025-26, and things are about to get worse for West Ham following a new announcement.

West Ham supporters are furious with the start to the season, and they’ll be more frustrated after a host of changes have been made to their fixture schedule.

Their away trip to Brighton was planned to take place on 6 December, yet the match will now be played at 2 pm on 7 December for TV coverage, as shared by West Ham Football.

This follows a host of amendments made to the Premier League calendar that will leave Nuno and co. feeling hard done by.

As for the match against Brighton, travel to the south of England is notoriously harder on a Sunday, and the change seems unnecessary given that it is not a match that jumps out to fans on the calendar.

The Hammers have won just one out of their 16 matches against the Seagulls, and it adds to the anger that fans will now be feeling over the change.

As a whole, the Premier League and broadcasting companies must give a warning to fans as soon as possible when the fixture calendar drops in June.

By the end of August, it is clear which teams will be playing in Europe and will need to play their league matches on Sundays, yet with Brighton and West Ham not in continental action, the change seems unnecessary in every way possible.
