Exciting Partnership: Chase Elliott and Atlanta Braves Unveil Co-Branded Hat Collaboration!
The Atlanta Braves launched a new hat Friday in partnership with NASCAR Cup Series driver Chase Elliott. The cap, which includes the Braves’ distinctive “A” emblem on the front and Elliott’s No. 9 on the side, comes in two different colours of blue. All hats are available at the Braves Clubhouse Store in Truist Park and the Threads by Braves Clubhouse Store in The Battery.
Elliott, a Dawsonville, Georgia native, is a lifetime Braves supporter. Elliott earned his first Cup Series championship in 2020, and the Braves won their first World Series title since 1995 the year after. Georgia also won the College Football Playoff National Championship for the first time since 1980. Elliott attended a ceremony of Georgia champions at the College Football Hall of Fame in June 2022.
On the track this season, Elliott is back to being one of the most consistent drivers on the circuit following an injury-riddled campaign the year prior. A winner at Texas earlier this season, Elliott has been racking up points in recent weeks. He has recorded seven top 10s in his last 10 starts and finished no worse than 15th during that stretch.
Elliott is now second in the points standings following his fourth-place finish at Sonoma on Sunday. He’ll be looking for his second win in the inaugural Cup Series race at Iowa Speedway on Sunday. The racetrack first opened in 2006, but it is now staging its inaugural Cup Series event, the Iowa Corn 350.
“I remember fans, in particular, always talking about how badly they wanted a [NASCAR Cup Series] race, so I’m just happy that they finally got one,” Elliott said this week of Iowa Speedway. “I believe it’s been a worthy facility for a long time. And whatever the cause is or how long we go, I believe it’s excellent that they did things well over the years and got one.”
The NASCAR Cup Series is coming to Iowa for the first time, and Caitlin Clark is a huge fan of the particular paint scheme. Corey LaJoie is driving a unique Iowa Hawkeyes design that fans will adore. Gainbridge is a key sponsor of Spire Motorsports. Thanks to them, the organisation has grown significantly in the last year. Caitlin Clark is a Gainbridge Ambassador. So this combo makes a lot of sense.
Clark, a WNBA standout, is well aware of the Hawkeyes’ paint scheme. “Hey Iowa, what’s up? Gainbridge’s collaboration with Spire Motorsports this weekend at Iowa Speedway will not disappoint.
